It was a pleasure to meet with a book club at Point Ellice House, the setting of Trappings’ story. We had an engaging discussion about the first owners of this Victorian house, ranging from domestic to dynastic power plays. In the evening ambience, the halls where the characters walked before us seemed part of the conversation of Dickens and disasters. Many thanks to Pt. Ellice House Museum, and particularly Jeannine, for hosting us, and Mandy for coordinating with the book club.

How I wish I could have attended the reading of Trappings at Point Ellice House. What a magical time and perfect setting.
I know you would enjoy this Victorian home, Peter, both for its stories and as an apt symbol of its era.
