While researching and writing a guest blog about Margaret Work’s granddaughter, a U.S. Congresswoman, I was thrilled to learn that this distinguished politician and early feminist credited Margaret with inspiring her career!  It seems my novel’s heroine became an outspoken suffragist later in life.
